Drama at the IN n' OUT
Approximately 11:30 PM In and Out Burger on Sunset, March 4th:
I am enjoying my double double burger - the special sauce has once been described as a unicorn came in it. It is that delectable, folks - with my old roommate from UF Adam Schott (creator of this fine web site by the way) and his buddy. A black crazy-looking man walks in. He's carrying a wad of cash. He immediately starts shouting... "I've got $35, I've got $35!!!". Adam thinks he's going to rob the place. I just shrug my shoulders and laugh. Just another "Sunny day...." The man wanders the restaurant from side to side continuing to shout "I've got $35, I'm not going to hurt nobody! I've got $35!" Apparently, he had $35. I don't know. I was confused by the whole thing. Was he looking to buy drugs? Was he looking for money? Usually when you're looking for money you wouldn't think you'd announce the money you already have. Reverse psychology tactic? Who knows? Finally, the guy's like "Ok, I'm leaving I'm leaving... The black man's leaving!" So he leaves. Then, comes back. Then leaves again with a cop escort. As Adam put, dinner and a show!
